Current satellite imagery shows Tropical Storm Cindy moving NW at 8mph.

Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for most counties in the Panhandle.

A Tornado Watch is has now been issued for the Panhandle through this morning.

Due to the system’s East-loaded nature, Florida is currently feeling the effects of the Storm that may last over the next 1-3 days. Heavy rains in the Panhandle are projected to reach up to 5″-8″ by the time the storm clears.

Ride Out teams are being stationed in the Panhandle and Tallahassee areas to assist Members with the response and recovery process.

Members should be taking refuge in safe locations in affected areas as the outer bands of the storm pass through today/tomorrow and be ready to initiate Emergency Response Procedures once the storm leaves the area and any flood waters subside.
