Severe Storms/Tornado Follow Up
FMIT Claims Department and Damage Assessment Teams are Supporting Members Who Have Reported Property Damaged Related to Recent Storm Activities.

The FMIT Claims Team is currently receiving Rapid Damage Assessments from Members affected by the severe storms and tornadoes that touched down Sunday afternoon and evening.

Storm reports indicate that some Members received wind gusts of 60-70 mph, drenching rains and tornadic activity across the state. Examples of damage due to storms of this nature include: trees down into buildings and structures, wind damage to rooftops and shade structures, flood damage and other storm-related damages.

Any Members who believe they have damage to insured assets need to perform Damage Assessments as soon as it is safe to do so and report them to FMIT.

Members should make sure that they have downloaded their most recent Insurance Policy from FMIT and from other Insurers.

Members should familiarize themselves on the steps for performing Damage Assessments using TrackDown by Clicking Here.

Go online: http://insurance.flcities.com and login to your account and submit your loss notice(s). FMIT and Synergy are immediately notified of your loss submittal.
